Regarding the Comprehensive Inspection Programme (CIP) for MTIs, nearly 60% of the pre-
sea and post-sea training instructors/faculty believe that the CIP should be reviewed to be
universally applicable, and views of MTIs be considered while framing rules. Only 36% of the
respondents find the CIP easy to understand and implement.
